Saturday, May 1, 2010...KABC is supporting a fundraiser ride for Pathways Connect (a northern Beaufort advocacy
group)...you may register at http://www.active.com/cycling/ladys-island-sc/pathways-connect-century-ride-2010 Contact
Pathways Connect is sponsoring the annual Century and Rides on the Islands for all levels of cyclists. The event will start
near the Huddle House, Route 21, 92 Sea Island Parkway, Lady's Island. The "Fun Ride", 15 miles and the 30 mile ride will
start at 9:30 AM, and the 60 mile and 100 mile rides will start at 8:00 AM. For more information call Jane Frederick 843 522
8422. We can have lunch after the ride at the "Taste of Beaufort" Festival in Waterfront Park in Beaufort.
For those who may not wish to participate in the fundraiser, there will be a leaderless "Show-&-Go Ride", meet at 9:00 AM
at Mangiamo's and ride wherever the group decides to go.

Wiggly in Bluffton. Take Rt. 278 to Burnt Church Road...go south to the first road...turn right onto Bluffton Parkway...take an
immediate right into the PIG's parking lot. Ride distance is 25 or 35 miles. Lunch is at Bluffton's Annual Village Festival on
Calhoun Street.

Club (CBTC), Sun City Cyclers and KABC. Contact Ron Knight at (843) 384-1808 for more information.
Allow plenty of drive time (approx. 45-50 minutes from I-95 and Rt. 278). Drive North on I-95 to exit 42. Right on Hwy 21, and
continue for 2.7 miles. Left onto US 17A, go 7.6 miles. Left onto Black Creek Road (SR 28). ¼ mile past old brick building
(on the left), there is an open field for parking on the right. Turn right into driveway of Jimmy Fitt’s Catering Service. Cell #1-
843-908-4872. Park in parallel lines and unload. This is where we begin our ride and where we will be having lunch. Ride
distances are 21, 32 and 43 miles.

at Coastal Carolina Hospital and ride to/through Hardeeville (to Tillman is you wish)...Ride distances are many (anywhere
from 12 to 48 miles)...we encourage those who wish, to participate in a short "Mayor's Ride for Diabetes" to be held in
Hardeeville...it is $10 for a 7 mile route and starts at 10:00A.M. (just after we will arrive in Hardeeville)...the fundraiser part is
encouraged, but optional. Click here for flyer. Coastal Carolina Hospital is located just east of I-95 on the north side of Rt.
278 across from McDonald’s.

from Coligny Circle. Ride distance is approximately 20 miles and will be partly on the beach and partly on paths in Sea
Pines. Lunch will be at Skillets Grill.

return for a distance of 36 miles. After the ride, we can meet at Barbara Jean's Restaurant for lunch. Please note special
9:30 AM start time!

Plantations. Mileage options will be approx. 20 and 40 miles. This will be a great ride for our Draggin' Asphalt folks.

Sunday, July 4, 2010...10:00A.M....Jewell-of-a-Ride / Savannah Independence Day Ride. This is a joint ride with our
friends from Coastal Bicycle Touring Club (CBTC). Ride Leader is Ed Jewell (912-826-3657). Meet at the north end of
Forsyth Park where Bull Street meets Gaston Street, North of the fountain. Ride will be a slow, social ride from downtown
Savannah to Isle of Hope and back for a 25 mile ride...another great ride for our Draggin' folks. Note this is a Sunday
morning, 10AM ride to celebrate the 4th of july!

ride is a "Poker Run" Ride starting from Dolphin Head Recreation Building in Hilton Head Plantation promptly at 9:00A.M.
The ride will be followed by a picnic for KABC members. A special prize will be awarded at picnic to person who gathers
best poker hand on the ride. Call Ron or Linda Kuhlman (home 842-4842) with questions.

west of Buckwalter Parkway...turn left into Palmetto Bluff...stop at "Security Gate" 0.1 miles past New Riverside Road...then
go 5.8 miles...turn right on Blue Willow Road to parking lot just past RT's Market (at gas station). Ride distance is 20 miles
(30 mile ride option with extra loop on New Riverside)..Sabreena has arranged for Buffalo's Cafe to host us for lunch at
approximately 11:15AM...this would be a good ride for Haulin', Kickin' or Draggin' Asphalt people...there are several
long straight sections on low traffic roads.
When inside the security gate, we need to ride single file in groups of 5 people or less.
